I am a photographer based in Sheffield who predominately shoots boudoir. And my sessions are for women who believe in celebrating who they are, and who wish to record this time in their lives for a variety of reasons; either to celebrate a milestone, or to present as a gift to their partner, celebrate pregnancy, a birthday, or just because.
My style is very ethereal and my photography tells a story of intimacy and longing, without being overly revealing. With being based in the UK it has proven a challenge for my clients to find the type of lingerie that fits around my style of boudoir; modern and timeless, and many have resorted to purchasing their lingerie from the US and Australia.
Early last year I designed a playsuit based on the requests of my wonderful clients, and teamed up with a local Sheffield talented bridal gown designer and maker (KMR) who I chose to collaborate with.
This May we launched the completed playsuit ‘Sweet Pea’ (a British floral name for a British floral design), and we are so pleased to announce that it is now available to buy direct from both the BUB website and KMR studio. It will be made to order for the ultimate comfort and fit, and you can try on our samples before hand.
We wanted to create something feminine, delicate and beautiful. Something that would be the perfect accessory for a BUB boudoir shoot. Handmade with love, to help make you feel special and look absolutely breath-taking.

Who is it for?
This e-book is designed for anyone who already photographs boudoir, or who is thinking about getting into boudoir photography. Most principles can be transferred to other genres too, such as portraiture in general, as the light work and practical exercises will work just the same. There are no rules as to who and why.

I love sharing my knowledge amongst others which is why I offer practical boudoir photography workshops. I've been mentoring other photographers, running group workshops, and speaking at events and seminars for over 10 years. Prior to starting my own photography business I was in educational arts running creative workshops for young people and adults around the Country. Being able to help others achieve their goals gives me great joy and it's really important to me. The practical workshops are aimed to help build your skills, portfolio and practice, you will also see first hand how I work technically and how I communicate with my clients through a practical demonstration.

I don't know about you but most of the time I need some inspiration, guidance and focus before my sessions. There is a big responsibility that comes with boudoir photography because as boudoir photographers we have to really be aware and tune into our client's energy, and clear any unwanted energy of own (which isn't always an easy thing to do). The most important part of our job is to help our client feel good about themselves.
How do you prepare yourself before a client arrives? I have to make sure that I’m in a good frame of mind before each session, so I created a method which I follow before each client arrives. It works for me and by sharing it I hope it also works for you too.
